1. I am good with people. 
Patients already feel vulnerable when they come in seeking medical attention. I'm dedicated to providing knowledgeable, sensitive care so patients can feel safe and nurtured. For example, when I started at Georgia Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, I immediately noticed the emotions and body image anxieties many patients had when they began speaking with me in consultations. I made sure to create a warm environment for them, counsel them on their fears, and make recommendations that best fit their needs. As a result of this strategy, sales tripled and the wait list grew from two weeks to two months. 
2. I pay attention to the details. 
When the action starts, vital details can easily fall through the cracks if one is not careful. I pride myself on keeping detailed records, asking thorough questions, and always following up. There was an instance at Southside Medical Care when a patient brushed off mild symptoms that had the potential to be a significant medical condition. Just to be sure, I ordered a scan and discovered the patient had developed 3 Saddle Emboli in his lungs. Because we caught it early, we were able to get him immediate medical attention and save his life. 
3. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty. 
I thrive on handling many different responsibilities, including administrative work, managing patient care, and liaising between the front and back office. I believe no job is too small, especially on a team. Due to ever evolving medical procedures, at Georgia Plastic, we struggled under the paperwork. Recognizing this, I reorganized 100% of the patient documentation into a new electronic health record system within 9 months. It was a lot of work but the time it saved us later on in administrative work was incredible. 
I have 6 years of experience in medicine, including 3 years in college as a Pharmacy Technician. I love people, and my patients have followed me when I changed practices. I work well under pressure and can follow instructions as well as supervise staff.
