Summary

I was married after 2 years in college.  My husbands mother opened a catering business and I went and worked with her.  I became pregnant with my son shortly after this.  I left the catering business to stay at home with my 3 children.  It was the most important thing I could have ever done and wanted to do.  My youngest child will graduate from college in December of 2015.  My job of raising my kids successfully has been completed.  I went to work as a preschool teacher after all my children moved out and loved my job in Charlotte.  Last year I moved to Lincolnton, NC and commuting everyday to Charlotte and working 40 hours a week was just too much.  I am interested in working in a fun, pleasant environment that keeps me busy.  My skills are limited from being a stay at home mom for so long.  I like to stay busy and have things to do. I feel that I could contribute to any business that would be willing to hire and train someone who is eager to learn new things and be a hard working, loyal employee.

Volunteering

Before I went to work for Calvary CDC, I was a volunteer at Misty Meadows Horse Farm.  This farm is used only for therapeutic riding purposes for mentally and physically handicapped children.  I did everything from cleaning stalls, grooming horses, tacking horses and helping the kids through their classes.  I could not have had a more rewarding experience volunteering there.
