Additional Information

While attaining my degree in Nutrition/Dietetics, I was also a member of my University's Division-II Softball Team. Preparing for the participation in collegiate athletics forced me to attain a disciplined and hard-working nature, while having the opportunity to be a member of the team provided me with an array of skills I would not have as easily adopted from the classroom. It required me to stay organized, micromanage my time, and above all else - find ways to manage the stresses brought on from balancing my school-work, practices, game schedule, and travel times. In addition to acquiring these skills, I was also put into leadership roles - which allowed me to speak on behalf of our team, plan events, and handle issues amongst players.
