As Director of Rehab, supervised a team of 35 therapists including Speech, Physical and Occupational Therapists.  Ensures medicare compliant billing, adequate staffing, ensuring patient's receive appropriate therapy, coordination with other departments to ensure optimal, high quality patient care. Marketing with orthopedists to increase census, developed a low vision rehab program to treat patient's with macular degeneration and central field deficits, developed OT program in collaboration with OT team for preventing re-hospitalization for patient's with diagnoses of CHF and COPD.

Peterson Rehab/Home Health Agency, Carmichael, Ca

Worked directly with physical therapists and aides to provide therapy to patient's in their homes. Collaborated with MD's and nursing to provide each patient the individual care needed. 

Occupational Therapist/Low Vision Clinic

Clinic based rehabilitation OT, providing low vision rehab to patient's with macular degeneration, glaucoma, and  neurological disorders. Developed the Occupational Therapy program in the clinic, teaching therapists how to provide Low Vision Rehab in their clinics emphasizing  Eccentric Viewing training.  Worked closely with the retinal MD coordinating treatment plans for patients. Developed a caseload that supported two full time Occupational Therapists.
