  • As a Sr. PDS Piping Designer my objectives were to generate detailed piping designs, provide pipe rack layouts and produce equipment modeling.
  • Through conceptual ideas and design reviews, I was given the task of designing underground piping for the Premcor Refining Group project in Texas.
  • Prepared studies of layout design alternatives for cost estimates, material take-offs and schedule reductions.
  • Extracted isometric drawings for pre-fabrication and stress analysis.
  • Field design and supports for all type of systems: crude, gas, distilled, water, steam, process, underground, etc.
  • Steel design/support for all field improvement and requirements for any new equipment installations. Pipe Supports Plot Plan Architectural (Plan, Sections, Elevation and Details)

  • Port Arthur Refinery/Cogen CCP Project.
  • Existing plant in Port Arthur, Texas, was in need of an expansion. Their goal was to generate 150 MW of electricity by the use of 4 turbines.
  • My objectives at Burns & Roe were to generate detailed piping designs, provide pipe rack layouts and produce equipment modeling. My responsibilities consisted of piping design in house and during field services. Responsible for Plot Plan development and maintenance to make sure design continuity was maintained. Interfaced with other departments to resolve questions and technical issues.
  • Coordinated and participated in formal design reviews, technical impact and safety review meetings with other departments for the nuclear project expansion in Morrisville, Pa.

  • ELY LILLY 6mAb CAPACITY EXPANSION PROJECT Indianapolis, Indiana for process piping (clean piping), clean utilities, pipe racks and pipe chases.
  • My responsibilities at the jobsite were to design piping systems layouts, equipment verification while coordinating with the client's Project Manager.
  • Attended job kick-off meetings and participated in design reviews with customers.
  • Applied my experience with typical startup and commissioning activities
  • I did extensive detailing and as-built while coordinating with welders and BMW contractors. My main objective was to generate Isos for stress.
  • Applied my piping experience at Savannah River Site (SRS) and worked on steam power plant (boilers, steam generators and feed booster pumps.
  • Coordinating, detailing and checking Isos generation for stress, specifications, equipment layouts verifications and P&ID verification.
  • Assist ETS AMGEN with walk down, validation, technical support for FTOP, IV and all related process or procedures.

  • Assigned to nozzle and platform layouts for Duck Creek - Sioux Fossil Fuel Power Plants. I worked on custom equipments such as: containment systems (glove boxes, hot cells, clean rooms).
  • Involved in pipe rack layouts and utility piping. Designed all supports for pipe runs and made modifications.
  • All work performed utilizing Bentley Plant Space 3D modeling software.
  • Preparing preliminary designs for estimates and project development through front end engineering.
  • Preparing and/or supervising the preparation of detailed construction packages.

  • Employed by a Canadian based Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) firm, which provides world-class expertise in designing while delivering turnkey industrial mega projects.
  • Reliance Jamnagar Export Refinery Project, Houston, Texas Crude Unit, Saturated gas concentration unit. Coordinating, detailing and checking Isos generation for stress, specifications, equipment layouts verifications and P&ID verification.
  • Designing new Lines and adding new equipment to the project including pipe supports.
  • Shell Refinery, HMU-H2 Purification a hydrogen manufacturing unit.
  • Coordinating and detailing all process piping, piping supports, utilities systems and all steel work necessary for this project. This was a Bantrel / Bechtel Engineering joint venture.
  • Involved with a broad range of services geared towards industrial energy projects including bitumen upgrading, petroleum refining, oil and natural gas pipelines and pipeline infrastructure, and the petrochemical production markets.

  • Field piping design and support for all types of systems. We covered Motiva Norco - Shell Refinery, Aramco (Arabian American Oil Company), Convent Refinery. Systems include: Gas, Crude, Steam, Distilled, Process, etc.
  • Involved in field improvements and new equipment installations.
  • Preparation of equipment data sheets and instrumentation data sheets, equipment lists, line lists and participation in a variety of design review.
  • Involved in the South Texas Project (STP) 2,700 megawatts facility in Matagorda County, Texas. My duties included: piping design while assuring that standard design criteria, practices, procedures and codes are used in preparation of plans and Isos. I also review and interpret project drawings and specifications as it relates to site/customer requirements.

  • Worldwide Water Purification Company that deals in designing and manufacturing complex filtration skids.
  • Involved in the design of EDR, RO and SWRO systems in their Trinidad - Tobago, West Indies projects, and a 230 million Desalination plant for Intel Corporation.
  • Bristol Myers-Squibb and Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceuticals projects. Scheduled field erection teams and worked on pipe rack layouts. Systems including: Water for Injection (WFI), (USP) Purified Water and Autoclaves, piping & equipment modeling, ISO extraction, interference and clash reports drawing manager and drawing annotation.
