Perform professional, technical work in the implementation of SEMSWA's Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit to ensure compliance with all federal and state requirements.
  • Develop and implement company-wide environmental policies and sustainability goals for six minimum control measures required by the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System under the Clean Water Act.
  • Develop clear, comprehensive education and outreach program including training programs that promote sustainable watershed management and regulatory compliance for staff, local government agencies, developers, contractors, non-profits, and community groups.
  • Draft innovative environmental initiatives including a new public/private partnership that promotes the use of green infrastructure and low impact development for public infrastructure and private development.
  • Prepare fact sheets, technical documents, and standard operating procedures that identify target pollutants as well as strategies to reduce pollutants through the use of best management practices (BMPs) and behavior change.
