I have worked in various manufacturing facilities, power plants, Steel Plants and refineries where I've supervised safety and health for union iron workers, millwrights, boilermakers, pipe fitters, electricians and other construction trades. Provided in-house consulting services to Operations Group. Managed related project activities, Conducted needs assessment to design training, including developing, implementing, and documenting operating procedures. Served as in-house OSHA expert to review technical reports and drafts of proposed OSHA standards to include state-of-the-art field practices. Developed guidelines to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and address mitigating circumstances within the environment. Revised safety guidelines for work practices and changed format for more practical use. Designed train-the-trainer seminars for supervisors to implement new procedures. Met with injured parties and supervisors to investigate accidents and determine root causes. Implemented preventative measures to prohibit recurrence based upon the analysis.

Lead Site Safety Professional. Performed site safety evaluations and developed and conducted safety orientation training, audits and compliance for multiple trades. 
Wrote several training programs to comply with the Marathon site policies. Developed and maintained all MIOSHA documentation for compliance. Managed all incidents and accidents for the site while coordinating the OCIP claims with the Marathon coordinator 
resulting in no loss time or restricted workers compensation cases with a zero OSHA
