Most work was up high was done off 12 ft. latter and with higher altitudes done off a boom truck lift that I was certified by Tharp. Loading slitting machine with 1,500 to 30,000 lbs. roll of paper to be slit by specs. Record each move and down time in computer with proper log-in code. Set up the slitter's 20 blades, the tension, pressure, and back roll tension depending on specific product type of paper. After slitting, remove product to shipping table with overhead 50 ton crane. Prepare for shipping, with forklift, move product to shrink wrap gun station, wrap, weigh, print out shipping bar code to be placed in proper location on product, and stage in staging area for loading at end of shift. Out of all the positions(forklift opp, slitter tech, shipping and receiving, and shrink wrap gun station) I performed each position to the fullest before moving to Shift Supervisor after Supervisor retired on day shift and I then became night supervisor.
