Work Experience in Public Schools 
While working as a school psychologist in the Fife School District I have performed comprehensive evaluation on a wide range of students, working with families that have children with learning disabilities to multiple disabilities to English Language Learners to Life Skills. Besides performing job description duties, one of my objectives during the 2008-2009 school year, was to plant the seed for a transition/vocation program at the secondary level and establish myself with students, staff, and parents. As of the 2011-2012 school year, Fife School District will be implementing a transition/vocation program for its secondary special education students. Additionally, I have counseled both special education and general education students dealing with behavioral and grieving issues. 
 
Practicum and Internship 
While working as a school psychology internship student in the Fife School District I performed comprehensive assessments, which included transferring in new students, initial evaluations, and re-evaluations. I worked with and assessed students ranging in age from eight years of age to 21 years of age in intermediate through high schools. While working as a school psychology practicum student at McCarver Elementary (lower SES school), I performed comprehensive assessments which included initial evaluation and re-evaluation. Evaluations were conducted via a team approach comprised of a group of professionals that included specialist(s), school nurse, school counselor, general education teachers, special education teacher, and vice principal. 
 
Clinical and Education Experience 
I have extensively trained in comprehensive assessment utilizing achievement, cognitive, and personality/behavior measures. Among the many clinical scales and measure available I have extensive familiarity with the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale, Wechsler Individual Achievement Test, Woodcock Johnson Test of Cognitive Abilities and Test of Achievement, Universal Non-Verbal Intelligence Test, Cognitive Assessment System, Behavior Assessment System for Children, Attention Deficit Disorders Evaluation Scale, Behavior Evaluation Scale, Connor's Rating Scale, and Achenbach System of Empirically Based Assessment. In addition to psychometric experience, I have been trained in my clinical courses to use the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV) and provide a multi-axial assessment. Furthermore, during training as an education specialist I have had comprehensive courses in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Washington Administrative Code (WAC). 
 
Other Professional Work Experience 
My professional background covers many types of experiences ranging from business, to computer information systems, to small business owner, to non-profit social work. All these professions have required a certain amount of customer/client service where I have honed my interpersonal skills and ability to work independently. Recently, I have worked in social work as a Community Support Specialist for a non-profit organization, Pierce County Alliance. My duties included mentoring and counseling therapeutic foster care clients, ranging in age from toddler to teenager, for the Youth Services Department. The Youth Services Department is contracted through the federal and state to mange client cases and be a liaison between state agencies including guardian ad lidums, state social worker, school personnel, foster parents, parents, and therapist.
