Ammar is a digital architect with more than ten years experience in building design and the integration of digital techniques
into the disciplines it requires. He's a key member in Atkins Global Tactical BIM team; in fact he drafted both the first Atkins
BIM standards, and BIM project execution plan.

Ammar first introduced BIM to Atkins' China and Philippines organisations, together with various offices in Gulf region and
by providing support to the UK offices. With installation complete, Ammar is currently involved in completing global
coordination and standards for the BIM system among Atkins world-wide office network, and particularly for developing BIM
sub-systems to support green design and energy efficiency. In the process he uses skills gained as a technical consultant
to Autodesk ME, a major software developer for the construction industry.

As well as his outstanding computer skills, Ammar is a fully-qualified architect, who has a good deal of experience in large
commercial and urban planning projects. His unique combination of professional and computing skills has enabled him to
use API programming in C# to develop smart tools for building design and production. He also runs training programmes
