As Public Works Maintenance worker I am responsible for performing a variety of arduous manual labor tasks such as bending, climbing, stooping, lifting, pushing and pulling heavy objects in the construction, maintenance and/or repair of County roads, and sewer systems. These duties include graffiti and weed abatement, drain, cleaning, sign cleaning and repairing, general sewer maintenance, tree watering with tanker truck, median improvements, concrete repairs, wheelchair ramp installation and stocking, side walk repair, assisted in shoulder maintenance; and drive automotive equipment to work sites, which may include combination truck units with trailers of 6,000 pounds gross vehicle weight or over. I have worked 12 hour shifts during storm season to plow snow and debris off road ways, have operated both John Deere and Caterpillar Loaders and the Caterpillar Back Hoe. I currently have a Class A commercial license with Tanker endorsement. I have filled in as a Heavy Truck Driver to transport equipment to the Maintenance yard. I have been part of numerous street paving jobs, both in our area and in other cities. I have become very proficient at the duties of a Maintenance worker.

Department of Defense student tests were also be administered to high school students. I was responsible for the security of test materials in my possession, as well as maintaining inventory control and accountability of test materials. When conducting written tests, the sessions range in size from 1 to 40 applicants. The various test sessions were conducted at locations such as Federal office buildings, National Guard Armories, Reserve Centers, high schools, international airports, and rented space.

I conducted routine patrol work on the third biggest military installation in the world. Population of about 30,000 plus. I conducted law enforcement. Several shifts including days, swings, and mids. Participated in substance abuse and suicide prevention programs to assist soldiers and their families and raise awareness throughout the community. I responded to various calls including a shooting at the on post club, bar fights, domestic disturbance and violence, theft, breaking an entering, driving while intoxicated, 911 hang-up calls, drunk in public, and AWOL soldiers. Assisted in arrests and myself arrested over 30 suspects related to the above.

I conducted special operations in both Kosovo and Macedonia. Missions consisted of personal security for high ranking officers, force protection. Checkpoints where we conducted personal and vehicle searches and interview process. Company offensive missions to capture up to 25 men wanted in Kosovo who were said to cause the up-rising between the Serbians and Albanians. Involved in 2 riots where non-lethal bean bags, shotgun rubber bullets, flash bangs and CS Grenades were used in order to control the crowd.
