Role and Responsibilities:
  • Admits and evaluates patients referred by physician.
  • Interprets diagnosis and formulates treatment plans for patients.
  • Performs physical therapy intervention, periodically re-evaluates the case and recommends modification in the treatment program.
  • Provides home care instruction and home therapy program.
  • Documents all medical information of the patient, treatment given and the progress of patients
  • Educates patient, caretakers, and family regarding the type of injury or disability, physical limitations, therapeutic interventions and discharge instructions.
  • Administratively, is a member of the Physiotherapy Technical team responsible in the deliberation of any problems that may arise in the section including staff, patients and equipment.
